Melany & Will's Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, one of my old roommates got married and I had the honor of taking her pictures. I had so much fun capturing her special day. I can remember the nights we used to chat about her dream wedding....I'm sure this day was everything she dreamed of and more. Melany, you looked absolutely stunning! Will, take care of my friend! :)

I guess this means I'm the last one to get married from 1109 Moss Hill.
Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Melany's brothers were so cute! They were cracking me up during the entire ceremony. You could tell it took everything they had to stand up there... I don't think it was their cup of tea. I think this was during the prayer... I guess they wanted to make sure they had their eyes closed and didn't peek. lol!

As I was going around to take pictures of guests, this man asked me if he could stick his tongue out in the picture. Of all the weddings I've done, no one has asked me that. I thought it was funny because he was totally serious. lol!

Pictures of My Mentor? What?

It's been a while since I last posted... I'm kind of behind. I've done a couple of shoots during the past couple of weeks, but school has been crazy so I haven't had time to post some of the pictures.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of taking pictures of my mentor... Jena Leigh. You should check out her site at jenaleigh.com. She needed a picture of her and her husband for their Christmas card. They are so cute together and it's evident how much they are in love. Take a look at some shots from our morning together.

Have a great Thanksgiving! Come back to see pics of Melany and Will's wedding.

The Inman Family

This past week, I hung out with the Inman family for a little bit.... between soccer practice and Candyland, they managed to squeeze some time in with me. They were such a blast to take pictures with... and their backyard is pretty neat!

I always like how curveballs are thrown at you and sometimes you just have to roll with it - My camera died with about 10 minutes left in the photo shoot. However, Shannan (the mom) came to the rescue. She had a back up camera... she is also a photographer. She saved the day!!! I don't know what I would have done with out her. Some of my favorite pictures came from those last 10 minutes.

I love how the whole family ended up jumping on the trampoline by the end of our time together! They looked like they were having so much fun, I wanted to join in myself.... Oh and I love their funny faces!
