I was so excited to be able to paint this custom canvas for a new client. She sent me a list of Game Room Rules. Her only request was to make sure "Everyone is Welcome" is first and "Have fun!" is last.  I say those are pretty important rules.

I enjoy receiving requests to paint something I've painted before, but with requests to make them a little extra special.

I painted this design on a canvas a couple of years ago.  A client found it on my FB page. They sent me an email saying they really liked it and wanted it on a larger canvas with a quote.  Here it is!!!

The other material I experimented with last week was wood. I had so much fun working with it...I hope this isn't the last time a client requests it.  A couple of inspiration pics can be found on my Pinterest board. 

For this painting, I was told to be creative. The only requests were no pink and no pastels. The more rustic the better.
If my client doesn't like it, I have the perfect spot for it in the guest room. :)

My husband's grandfather served in the Navy several years ago. For Christmas, I painted his Navy patch. I hope his eye sight is getting worse because this painting sure isn't perfect, but it was painted with love. :)

This past week, I've had the opportunity to work with two new materials- one being textured fabric. (You'll have to come back later this week to see what the other one is.)  The material for this painting is the same used for the bathroom vanity at church. This painting will be hung above the vanity mirror. Can't wait to see it in its new home.

This canvas was ordered as a surprise Christmas gift. I can post the picture, but I can't say who ordered it...... I hope whoever receives it, likes it!

A client used a gift certificate to order this canvas for her precious baby boy. She wanted a canvas with Louisiana and Jeremiah 29:11 on it. I hope this is what she had in mind.

Happy Birthday to one of the coolest 10 year olds I know!

My Mother-in-law LOVES Chocolate!!! I can't even put into words how much she loves chocolate. lol! Let's just say, for every holiday, birthday, and fun care package she gets Peanut M&Ms from us.  She not only loves chocolate, but she loves to write, and more importantly she LOVES JESUS. She wrote an acrostic for the word "chocolate".  She wanted me to paint it for her so she could hang it in her house.

A dear friend of mine asked me to paint a canvas for her nephew. When she told me the theme of the nursery, I thought it was perfect! A hunter's nursery for a hunter's son. The whole family likes to hunt. I'm sure Baby Dickman will fit in nicely.

Last Saturday, I attended a sweet shower for a dear friend. I loved being able to paint something for Baby G's room. Her pretty momma and daddy picked out the scripture...and pink and brown are perfect for any little girl's room. The Lee household is so excited for Emily and Robert. We can't wait to meet Baby G.

This is officially my last painting before Baby Lee arrives. The Lee household is very anxious! We can't wait!!!!!

I have a dear friend who has a birthday next month.... I know it's still a little early, but I have already sent her birthday/Christmas present to her. (The Lee household is about to get crazy and I would rather be very early than the slightest bit late!) She opened her gift (I gave her that choice), so I can post her canvas. :) I think I might have to paint one of these for my house now.
