Jena & Daniel

Last week, I had the honor of photographing two very special people in my life. I was Jena's assistant when I lived in Louisiana.... she has taught me so much. Her and her husband are precious friends to the Lee family. I miss them both and I wish I lived closer. But, while I was in town, I took their Christmas card photos. Check out a few of my favorites from their session.

Have a blessed Black Friday!

Adoption Fundraiser

In honor of Thanksgiving, I'm hosting an Adoption Fundraiser for a sweet family I know. I have to much to be thankful for- a Savior,  my husband, family, friends, church, and so much more. And because I'm so thankful for my family, I think that a special child in Africa deserves to have a wonderful loving family too. The Clark Family is adopting a child from Ethiopia. Check out their blog!

Here's how the fundraiser works. Think of it as an auction. The painting below is valued at $55.  Leave a comment with the price you're willing to pay for the canvas. It can be more than $55. The fundraiser will end on December 7th. I will keep you updated on the highest price of the painting for those that want to keep bidding. Alll of the money given for the price of the canvas will be given to the Clark Family to help with their adoption process.
The canvas is a perfect gift for Christmas!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. What I'm most thankful for is my Savior Jesus Christ. Without him, I am NOTHING! But after Him, I am thankful for my wonderful, godly, handsome, kind, loving, gentle, talented, intelligent, strong, funny, athletic, trustworthy husband. He has such a servant's heart. I admire him. I love him. I am so proud of him and I'm proud to be his wife.

A couple of weeks ago, a wife of an airman emailed me about doing some center pieces for their Squadron Thanksgiving Dinner. I was honored and humbled to be able to help. I painted two "Give Thanks" canvases for the event. They are being used as center pieces, but then given away at the end of the meal as door prizes. How cool! When I get to participate in things like this, it brings more joy to my soul than I can express. i LOVE it!
Have a BLESSED and Happy THANKSGIVING!
