I recently finished these for a wonderful client. It was a joy to design for her....so easy to work with.

Here's what she sent me for the invitations: "... we are having a bbq red white and blue type theme." What a fun way to celebrate your 70th birthday!

A very special friend of mine will be celebrating a birthday in the next couple of days. I sent her birthday present several weeks ago....due to the fact that I would rather be VERY early, than late. My brain doesn't work well these days (Thanks Baby Lee!), so while I was thinking about her, I mailed her gift. She opened it already, so I can post it.

Happy Early Birthday "Lawah"!!! I hope you enjoy your hand made stationery.

Things have changed quite a bit since this picture. However, it always makes me feel better to look back at what it looked like before to realize how much we have accomplished.
-Book shelves (spice racks) have been put together. There are a couple left to put on the wall.
-The crib is in the right place. lol!
-High chair has found its home in the dining room.... an exciting reminder of who will be joining us for dinner soon.
-Ceiling fan has been hung.
-Diaper changing table has been finished (A few adjustments were made to it. When the diaper changing pad comes in, I'll post a pic)
- Curtain rod has been hung.
- Pictures have been hung (only 2 more left to hang...waiting for a couple to be sent to me)
-Nursery chair has been put together. As well as the side table and lamp (a craft project I'll post about later)
-Baby Bedding is almost complete. The bed skirt is on the bed, but a few adjustments had to be made to the bumper pads.

In a couple of weeks (my goal is 2 weeks), I'll be able to post some final pics. :)

Look what arrived at my house today! Another book to add to the book shelves. Valkyrie (our dog)  like the story, and I think Baby Lee did too. It is a fun little story.....and a very cute giraffe! Thank you to the Loyd Family.

My husband is so silly.
I'm 28 weeks and growing rounder!

I received a FB message from a client who wanted a piece of artwork for her home. Here's what she sent me:
"Colors: black, white, and red are my living room colors. I would like something with a little more red, because most of the pictures are black and white. But not too drastic either! It's really just up to your creative style, haha!" (I love when clients say that!)
[style]"...it's a mixture of both modern and vintage, lol! As decor, we have random black and white photos all around. Some are city scapes, some people, and then family photos, all ranging from old to new. The red is tied in with curtains, pillows, and small little tidbits. I would like this to go in the center of the main wall, between or two shelves as a focal piece.
I like the theme that you have with the fruit of the spirit painting with the tree. Since its a love passage, maybe a love theme? I don't know! I'm really so easy to please!"

I hope this one pleases her! If not, I know exactly where I'm going to hang it in my house. lol!

A couple we know was married a couple of weeks ago. They insisted no one bring gifts, but I just couldn't do it. lol!

These were sent out a couple of weeks ago. They match the Little Lambs canvases I painted as well as the Gender Reveal Party Invites I did several months ago.

A loyal client of mine emailed me several months ago about designing graduation invitations for her son. What an honor! Caleb will be attending my Alma Mater in the fall....How 'bout them dawgs?!?! I'm excited for him and I can't wait to see how God uses him in the next chapter of his life.

A client emailed me about designing a print for her boys' bathroom. She wanted it to have the steps the boys take when they are in there.  I LOVE it! What a fun idea! I will have to keep this in mind when I'm a mom.

We have been working hard on getting Baby Lee's nursery ready....even Valkyrie has helped! :) Furniture has been put together. A painting has been finished and hung (pic coming soon!). Anticipation is growing!!!!!

A very special client of mine emailed me before Mother's Day about a gift for her sister. She sent me this picture:

She liked the idea of the image above, but wanted something a little different. I love when clients allow me to experiment with new ideas!!!
The idea is that she was going to take the canvas I painted and add a clip to it. That way her sister could change what she had on display whenever she wanted.

Our neighbors are moving. :( Our street won't be the same without them. Here's our gift to them for their new home.
