I recently delivered this set of paintings to one of my best friends. She is have a little boy (Lucas) and Little Lambs is the theme of the nursery. The paintings also match the Gender Reveal Party Invites I did for here a couple of months ago.

I have posted a DIY tutorial for making envelopes several months ago. I used our TOMS catalog for these. I think they are my favorite. I do love TOMS.

These boys are so fun and energetic. Each time I see them, I can't believe how much they have grown. Their mom did an awesome job scouting out some sites since I don't live in the area anymore (Great job Jeni!). Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

 I did this to my mother when I was growing up. Sometimes pictures is just not on the agenda for the day. In a couple of months, I'm sure I will be payed back for all the times I put my mother through my photo day tantrums. Baby Lee, please have mercy!

Last week, my husband and I made a cross country trip.....by car. The greatest thing about traveling for several days in cramped quarters was that I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with my best friend. The worse thing was the weather. We were 20 minutes from our first stop to stay the night and the interstate was closed. CLOSED?! What? It was closed due to the weather. My husband and I lived in North Dakota for several winters and the weather conditions in Arizona (where we were) were nothing close to what we lived in. So, after several minutes of waiting and asking whether we should stay or make a detour, we finally decided to make a detour. We definitely went out of the way, but we didn't lose a day of traveling. Here's what we woke up to the very next day at our hotel.
 We had plenty of practice doing this in North Dakota. I think it's a skill you never forget.

Here's a sneak peek from yesterday's session. What a precious little boy! I can't believe he is getting so BIG!

My parents sent me the sweetest care package a couple of weeks ago... filled with baby clothes, scrapbooking stickers, cookies, and CORNMEAL!!!! Crazy, I know! Self-rising white corn meal doesn't exist in Las Vegas. I was craving cornbread, so my mom went to the grocery store in Louisiana, bought cornmeal, and sent it to me in the mail. I made cornbread in my cast iron skillet.... and it was as close as I could get to my momma's cornbread without having her there cooking it for me. DELICIOUS!

During Cara's session, her son, E, asked me to bird watch with him. I can't remember ever bird watching with binoculars before. But now, I can officially say I have.  I asked E, "Did you know that a robin is a bird?" His response, "It is?! Mrs. Robyn, you're a bird?!" LOL! Something like that.
He is so sweet and smart!

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of Cara a few days ago. Baby B is due any day now and I can't wait!







And my favorite one from the whole day. M has such a sweet tender spirit. I could just eat him, he's so sweet!

If you have seen these in the store, get them! They are selling like hot cakes and really hard to find. And did I mention, they are DELICIOUS! They really do taste like birthday cake.
