MHS Football Programs
Last week, a client called me and asked me to design the cover for their football programs. How cool is that!? I did a program cover for each home game.... for the entire season.
Here's what my client sent me as inspiration. I'm not an Arkansas fan (but I have friends who are obsessed with the team!). However, the layout of the cover is nice.
Here's the cover for MHS. They've never had football programs before. Isn't that crazy?
The logo for the top of the football schedule! Go Tigers!
Have a blessed Thursday!

Wedding Gift for Mr. & Mrs. Woods
I finished this canvas a couple of weeks ago for a client of mine. She ordered it as a wedding gift for her friends. The teal color and pattern matches their wedding and wedding website.

Baby Shower Invitations
I had a client call me last week and ask me design baby shower invitations for her. They were so much fun to make! And when my lab sent them to me, I was so excited. They turned out better than I was expecting (I love when that happens!).
Inspiration sent from my client:

Montgomery High School FCA
I was recently asked to design a tshirt for Montgomery High School's FCA. I was in FCA from junior high school through high school and I don't think we ever had a tshirt (how terrible... and I was on leadership!)
They sent me a pic of a layout they really liked:

Don't forget that RCP offers Boutique Packaging with your order. It's a great idea if your sending a canvas as a gift! Personal notes are available with it as well.

Revival This Week!
Cross Roads Baptist Church is hosting a Revival Meeting this week! Woo-hoo!!! It is tonight through Thursday night starting at 6:30 p.m. FREE dinner is provided at 5:30 p.m.
Dr. Charles Barrier is the guest evangelist (Man, can he preach!). I was asked to paint a canvas for him. I had the privilege of seeing his reaction when he first saw his gift. His appreciation and excitement was worth more than any amount of money. It warmed my heart. It's times like this that I thank God for allowing me to use the gifts and abilities He's given me to run a business. Oh how He blesses us when we do what He calls us to do! :)
I'm excited about this week and the Word that Bro. Charles will bring! If you're in the Minot area, please come! For more info, you can call 701-838-1873.
Here's the canvas. I'm ready to see a pic of it hanging in his office.
Have a blessed Monday!

My First Paid Advertisement!
I have been so blessed over the past year (well, and since the beginning) with RCP. It's amazing to see what God does when you step out in faith and do what He wants you to do. I have had the privilege of sending canvases all over the world this past year, which is unbelievable to me. I don't know anybody in England, but they want a canvas painted by RCP. WHAT? How crazy is that?
I haven't really done much advertising since I started my business. It's been a steady flow of customers (and it still is- thank you to loyal customers.... never underestimate the power of word of mouth!), but something inside me just wanted to see what would happen if I just invested a little bit into a little advertising. Well, I have a couple of things to share with you:
The first being that I am going to be a part of an arts and crafts show in November called the BIG ONE. I'm so excited! I've been very busy trying to get some canvases ready to sell. It's a little difficult because I usually do custom canvases, so I'm just taking a chance and hoping people like (have houses that match) my paintings. lol!
I have also paid for a spot on Creations by Kara. This button will directly send you to my Etsy shop. This is all a little experimental. I paid for 1 month. At the end of the month, I'll see if it was worth the investment. I'm always willing to try something at least once.
If you're in the Minot, ND area, come check out my booth. If you aren't- check out my Etsy shop, Facebook Fan Page, or website.
Have a blessed weekend! Come back Monday for more pictures of paintings.

Bruce is having a 50th birthday soon. He told his wife that he was "turning as old as Noah." And he thought it would be fun to have a Noah's Ark Pairs Party (I love it!). So here are the invites designed for his big-shabang!

BRANDED
The College Minister of Calvary Baptist Church in Ruston, LA asked me to design a couple of logos ("branding" as she called it) for some upcoming Bible Studies. This one is for a Bible Study called "BRANDED". It's a new Bible study on the south campus (agriculture, forestry, pre-vet, etc.).
