Baby Madeline
I have a dear friend who has a little girl on the way. Sarah and I have known each other for quite some time. She was the first one of my friends to get married, and now she's having a little girl! AHHHH!!! She is going to be a wonderful mother. I painted a 24X36 canvas to go in Madeline's room... a canvas that can "grow" with her.

A Painting for RhiDesign!
I have a friend who owns RhiDesign. She is amazingly talented. We did a trade off on services. She made me some AWESOME stationery for my business (thank you cards). Thank you Rhia! I love them!
I painted two 11X14 canvases for her. She sent me some fabric samples that she liked.

"Ms. Wisa!"
Today, I ate lunch with two very dear friends of mine. I drove to St. Francisville to eat lunch with them at the Magnolia Cafe. (Talk about some good food!)
I made a canvas for Ms. Lisa (aka "Ms. Wisa"). The Lord has been with her as she's been going through some health problems over that past year or so. God is so good! She is better now and it was so good to see her well and laughing and happy!... and STRESS FREE!!! She sent me this verse a couple of months ago. It was exactly what I needed to hear as I was going through some health problems of my own. God always knows when to send a special word your way. I am so thankful for her... and her son! I can't imagine my life without them! I definitely wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for them.
Take a look at her canvas.

Brad & Brittany
Yesterday, I spent some time with Brad and Brittany during their engagement session. They are such a fun, sweet couple. I'm definitely looking forward to their wedding!
The weather was beautiful yesterday, but I felt like I was in North Dakota. The wind was absolutely insane, but we made it through.
Brad and Brittany, thank you for being so patient and willing to do anything!
Have a blessed day!

Convoy of Hope
I have a dear friend who served as an intern for Convoy of Hope. I am so proud of the work that she's done. God has definitely used her in a mighty way. My husband and I have been praying for her, and I'm so glad she's now on American soil.
I made this painting for her to remember the work that she did overseas and the ministry opportunities God provided for her and her team. I was inspired by the clothing she wore during her internship....bright colored fabrics.
I pray that if the Lord leads you to give or serve in a ministry, that you would be obedient to do so. Do something great for the Lord today!
Have a blessed day!
Here's some of my color inspiration:
The canvas: (I have this verse framed with a collage of pictures from my mission trip to Brazil. I look at it everyday as a reminder.)

He Loves Me!
One of my best friends gave me an awesome birthday present last year. It sits on the "decorative" table in our bedroom. Everyday it reminds me of how much God loves me... and my friend too.
My friend is currently the Children's Minister at Shannon Oaks Church in Sulphur Springs, TX. The church paid for the staff to make their offices a little more decorative. She ordered a MASSIVELY large canvas from me for her office. (24X48... too large to ship!) Her request: "I want to it look just like the birthday present I gave you, but I want it to be red." And that's exactly what I did. Just a much larger scale.
There is a story associated with this canvas though. I couldn't ship it, so I delivered it on my way to my final destination last week. I was so overwhelmed with the 115 canvases I had to paint, that I didn't get to put all my attention on this one. I painted the red coat twice while I was working on the Marathon canvases. Let's just say 2 wasn't enough. The day before I left to go out of town, I painted another red coat. The next morning, I work up and it still wasn't enough. So, that morning, I painted another coat. Went and ran a few errands, came back to my house, and noticed that it still needed another coat. So.... I painted another coat. While it was still wet, I put it in my car and let it dry flat on my way from Minot, ND to Omaha, NE. lol! Then when I stayed at a hotel, I carried the MASSIVELY large canvas through the lobby to my room, to paint the white. Let's just say a few people stared. lol! The next morning, I carried it back through the lobby to my car. That night I stayed with my grandparents. The next morning, I got up, touched up the white. Again, while it was still wet, I put in my car and let it dry flat on my way from Texarkana to Dry Prong, LA. When I delivered it, it was as dry as could be. lol! Needless to say, it was quite the adventure... but I didn't get any pics of it before I delivered it. (I should have taken pics through the process, but that would have been 10 times more stressful!).
My friend sent me these pics of her office. Love it!

I Love Birthday Parties!
It's true! I love birthday parties... I think it's because of the cake! lol! Birthdays are a very special time in the Lee household. They are so special, we have birthday weeks instead of just birthday-days (that's not a word!).
There is a very special 3rd grader in mine and my husband's life. He is a member of the family who takes care of the Lees in North Dakota. I have the privilege of spending Monday and Friday afternoons with Michael. We spend an hour on those days doing homework, math flashcards, and spelling words (which he HATES, but he's getting really good at them!) lol! Michael is truly special to me! He was the student of the week at his school a couple of weeks ago and he had to fill out a student of the week form. This form had various questions on it, like: what is your favorite food, favorite book, etc. One of the questions was "Who do you admire?".... guess who he put? Mrs. Robyn. lol! I wanted to start crying (tears of joy!). Michael is such a sweet kid. Sometimes he gives me certain faces that only Michael can give and they will melt your heart. lol! We definitely laugh, sing, and cut up a lot during tutoring session... but we get the work done. If school work isn't fun, what's the point? :)
Michael had a birthday party last week, and of course, I was there with my camera. A party full of 20 3rd graders.... INSANE, but so much fun! A Transformers themed birthday party for one cool 3rd grader! And of course he received a canvas from Mrs. Robyn and Mr. Stephen! His mom introduced the gift as the most special gift. lol! It was the last gift he opened, so I guess it needed an introduction. I love seeing people's reactions when they open a canvas.... especially 3rd graders. And they all read the Bible verse out loud... TOGETHER. So sweet! :)
Take a look at some pics from the birthday party and the Soccer canvas:

More Pics!
I received these pictures a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't had time to post them. My friend Larah ordered this canvas for her friend's daughter's birthday (did you get that?). lol! She sent me some pics of her with the gift as well as her room. Check 'em out!

The Future Mrs. Estevens
Today, I had the honor of taking the future Mrs. Estevens' bridals. It was absolutely the PERFECT day to take pictures. I couldn't have asked for better weather. Genna, Courtney, Nikki, and I all headed to Rosedown Plantation in St. Franciville to take pictures today. Genna was absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't have made it without Courtney and Nikki's help (Ladies, you were A-mazing!). You'll have to wait until next week to see her bridals (After her wedding). However, I did get to take pictures of her opening her wedding gift from Robyn Crumby Photography. (oh how I love to see people's reactions when they open gifts!)
Here are some pictures from the unveiling of the wedding gift:
